This is one of my ideals. It is simple, flowing, evocative, and of course, has a story. When I first moved to Vermont, I missed the geese and wide open spaces as well as the strong native presence in Wisconsin. I found this print in a second hand warehouse for furniture and household goods. The artist, Benjamin Chee Chee was a Woodland native in Canada who achieved success and then committed suicide. In his simplicity, he evokes for me the spirit of a goose and the yearning for what is missed.
